Going forward if you have any questions you need to first go to the website and check that info before you try to contact me. I am the person to get in touch, with nobody else.  I go to great lengths to make sure you are all informed about what is going on but I can’t send out the same information multiple times every week.

We will be setting up the mats on Saturday @ 6PM.  This is the earliest we can get in to set up.  We need all the help we can get to get out of there ASAP.

For this weekend’s match we need to collect some donations to support the concession stand.  Below is a list of what we need please pick one item to bring with you to the match on Sunday and email me what that item is.  If we already have enough of that item I will ask you to bring something else.  I need a response on this by Friday since I will be buying the balance of what we need on Saturday.

6 cases of water 12 or 16 size only

6 cases of Gatorade

5 Dozen Donuts assorted Dunkin or similar

3 Boxes of Coffee Dunkin

2 Dozen Bagels

Banana’s 3 bunches (6-8  per bunch)

Oranges 2 bags (10 per bag)

Apples 3 bags (10 per bag)

4 Individual yogurts (12 per pack)

2 cases of apple juice (individual 8-12 oz bottles)

2 cases of orange juice (individual 8-12 oz bottles)

3 Granola bars (24 or 36 count Quaker preferably)

Hello LJW Parents,

We have two home matches and our Lenape Jam to plan for as a team.  This requires volunteers to help set up and breakdown the gym and keep scores at the tables.  Also need some parents to offer and hour at the concessions stand on these days.  We always make sure you don’t miss your child’s matches.  None of this is difficult but the more people involved the easier it will be on the team leaders. 

We also need a volunteer to step up and organize concessions for these events.  The two home matches are basic donuts, bagels, fruit, Gatorade and water usually donated by parents to raise money to help pay for the refs at our matches (usually about $500 per match and $2000 for the Jam).

The Lenape Jam usually offers some more options but we can worry about that when we get a little closer to that date.

Our firts home match is next week so plan on being approached at practice next week to see where you can help and what you can donate to the concession stand.

Directions to Haddon Township High School From the North

Take Rt. 295 South to Exit 30 (Warwick Road exit). Make a left onto Warwick Road. Travel to the first traffic light (Kings Highway) and make a left turn. Go 2 blocks to the first traffic light (West End Avenue) and make a right.
Stay on this road for approximately 1 mile (road becomes Park Ave. as you enter Haddon Township). Go through the traffic light at Crystal Lake Avenue. Go 3 more blocks and make a left onto Briarwood Avenue, the road forks. Bear to the right onto Memorial Avenue, a one-way street.
Very residential, the street winds around but brings you directly to Haddon Township High School.

Practice is on Thursday 1/3 at 6:30.

We will be handing out singlets and weighing in anyone who hasn’t done so yet.

Our Match this weekend is at Haddon Twp @ 4:30 on Saturday.  Directions will be sent out later this week.

Hello and welcome to Lenape Junior Wrestling! We’re excited about the new season, and the website. It will be updated over the next few weeks, and news/announcement and schedule info will be posted here.

The team has lost a few coaches and at this point we need to get an idea of where we have help and where we need it. If there is anyone who has coaching experience of any type and would like to step up and support the team we’d love to hear from you.

You will only be asked to help the group your child is included in.
