Registration for Lenape Jam Tournament Now Open

Lenape Wrestling Program

Lenape Wrestling is a combination of our youth wrestling club (Lenape Jr), our middle school program (Harrington Middle School) and our HS program (Lenape HS);  Our programs are based out of Lenape High School in the Medford/Mount Laurel, NJ area.

Our Junior program typically fields a team of between 50 – 100 boys and girls, most of whom live in the sending area of the Lenape Regional High School District.

Junior program wrestles weekend matches in the Grapevine League while also participating in tri-state youth Novice and Open wrestling tournaments including the South Jersey Wrestling Association and the USA Wrestling New Jersey State Championship tournaments.

We have a number of coaches involved in our program which ensures that all of our wrestlers receive ample attention.

The Junior program is a self-funded club through registration fees and also through the hosting of various wrestling events.  For updated information on the wrestling program, tournaments, and practices please consider subscribing to our email list.

Why Wrestle?

Wrestling is the #6 high-school sport in America, right below soccer. It’s more popular than cross country, swimming or golf.

The benefits of wrestling are many:

  • It’s universal – every culture has their own form of wrestling
  • Anybody can wrestle – tall, short … heck, even missing limbs don’t hold wrestlers back.
  • Self-confidence
  • Discipline
  • Work Ethic
  • Mental toughness
  • Fitness
  • Self-defense

Wrestling prepares you to be successful in any walk of life.
